Presenter: Dr. Lisa Firestone
FREE WEBINAR
In this Webinar on understanding and preventing suicide, Dr. Lisa Firestone will educate participants about the warning signs, risk factors and helper tasks that can save a life. Like CPR training, learning the warning signs and what to do when someone is suicidal will help save lives. Worldwide, more people die by suicide than by all wars and homicide combined, people are in more in danger from themselves than from other people. Many of us are left to ask – how could this be happening? By understanding what goes on in the mind of someone who is suicidal, we are able to identify and assist those at risk. All of us would benefit from becoming familiar with the warning signs of suicide as well as learning strategies to help strengthen a person’s desire to live. By educating ourselves and increasing this awareness, we can all help save a life. When more people know CPR – Fewer people die!
